Food at Griffin House School
Lunch time is an important part of our pupils’ day. A hot meal is served every day and there is also a salad bar available for the older children. The lunch menus are changed weekly and our in-house catering team base the menus on enjoyable and healthy options, taking feedback from our families in to account.
We cater for a range of dietary needs, providing daily vegetarian options for any meat-based dishes and alternatives for any children with allergies or intolerances. All meals are prepared as fresh as possible using local suppliers, such as farm shops and greengrocers.
We provide a range of healthy snack options at morning break for our Pre-School to Year 1 children, and we ask our parents to provide a healthy snack for their child’s break time from Year 2 upwards. We also offer a snack if children are staying after school for All Day Care or clubs.
Morning Care offers a few breakfast options for any children attending the sessions and Evening Care also offers a simple tea.
