Form IV Assembly

On Monday, Form IV shared what we have been learning about in history – the amazing Anglo-Saxons! The children delivered their lines beautifully and gave a fantastic performance. They told the story of Anglo-Saxon Britain from start to finish and enjoyed acting out the key battles! We also shared some interesting facts, such as how to identify Anglo-Saxon settlements and why Alfred the Great really was great! Form IV then took Griffin House back in time to the Sutton Hoo burial site, where a treasure trove of ancient Anglo-Saxon artefacts were found.

We’ve had lots of fun in our history lessons this term and I am very impressed with how much the children have learnt. Well done Form IV, keep it up!
